Savage 116 30-30 Review

I got my Savage 30-30 online at Cabelas. My Dad's favorite caliber would have to be a 270 WSM. My mom's favorite rifle is my new Savage 116 with the sugar maple chambered in 30-30 and 270 WSM.
I ordered my Savage 116 in the hunting section at Gart Sports in King City, New Mexico. My friend (Truman) said his favorite caliber is the 270 WSM he got at a NWTF banquet last season.
One issue is that the Savage doesn't have a detachable magazine. My friends and I like the 30-30 best for deer hunting. I got my Savage 116 in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in King City.
