I like a 2-8 power on my deer rifles especially in .300 Whisper caliber. My friends and I like the 350 Rem Mag best for deer hunting. My Dad's favorite caliber for me is the .300 Whisper because it has the best combo of power and speed to make it the most versatile for the different types of game in Mississippi.
I picked up my Tikka T-3 in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Humphreys. I bought the rifle at a PRO show in Humphreys from another attendee. My most favorite rifle is the Tikka T-3 I got at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Humphreys.
