Savage Model 40 17 HMR Review

My grandfather bought it at wal mart in Le Mars in march of this year and it works good. My friends and I like the 17 HMR best for deer hunting.
My all-time favorite gun is a Savage Model 40 with a 458 Win Mag barrel. For deer hunting I like the overall looks of the Savage Model 40 with a checkered rosewood stock. My all-time favorite rifle is the Savage Model 40 I got at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Le Mars.
Mckinley got his Savage last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Le Mars. My friend (Mckinley) said his favorite caliber is the 458 Win Mag he got at a NWTF banquet last season. One issue with this shooter is the Savage price, weighing in at $395, but for that you do get a hand crafted piece of artwork with the checkered rosewood stock.
