My dad got his rifle at special yard sale in Sour John. My all-time favorite hunt was for pronghorn antelope in Wyoming, but my favorite trip was fishing in Alaska. My favorite caliber is the 256 Win Mag but I do own many others.
I ordered my Weatherby Vanguard Compact in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Sour John, North Dakota. I like the the 270 JDJ best for deer hunting. My favorite rifle is everything made by Weatherby. One drawback with the Weatherby 270 JDJ is that it can't be reloaded until all the magazine rounds have been expended.
